The Neugini Naturals Story: A Commitment to Quality Vanilla
2013
A Commitment to Quality Vanilla
Neugini Naturals Pty Ltd, an Australian-owned company, was founded in 2013 amid a global vanilla shortage. With Madagascar’s vanilla production struggling, prices soared by 500% over just a few years, pushing many toward artificial vanillin as a cheaper alternative.

Working with Growers
Recognizing both the challenge and the opportunity, Neugini Naturals set out to establish a sustainable supply chain by building strong relationships with farmers and suppliers. However, the journey wasn’t easy. Despite their efforts, early shipments were repeatedly rejected due to mold issues—traced back to improper curing and poor farming practices.

Own vanilla fields in Papua New Guinea
By 2019, their vision came to life with a 5-hectare vanilla farm, home to over 2,000 vines and accommodations for farmers. This initiative allowed them to consistently produce and supply premium-grade vanilla.

We use the Grade B beans for additions to our seasonal dark beers. Price is reasonable, quality and service were great, and the delivery was prompt. Recommended and will try the Grade A in the future for personal use.

Minimalist design meets everyday function — perfect for keeping your essentials secure and stylish on the go.
The B grade beans I bought to make vanilla essence are richly aromatic. They were a great price, arrived vacuum packed in thick plastic, and the staff at Neugini Naturals promptly sorted a problem with Australia Post. I’ll be buying more to make essence as gifts.
