Premium Quality Vanilla Pods
Bring the rich, authentic flavour of real vanilla into your kitchen with Neugini Naturals Vanilla Pods.
Our vanilla pods are carefully selected for their natural aroma, flavour and quality. They are ideal for home bakers, chefs, food manufacturers, brewers, distillers and anyone who wants to experience the difference between real vanilla and artificial vanilla flavouring.
Whether you are making a simple homemade dessert or producing vanilla extract commercially, we have different grades and sizes to suit your needs.
Why Choose Whole Vanilla Pods?
Whole vanilla pods give you the complete vanilla experience. Inside each pod are thousands of tiny vanilla seeds, also known as vanilla caviar, which contain much of the characteristic aroma and flavour of vanilla.
You can use the seeds directly in your recipes, while the empty pod can also be used to infuse flavour into sugar, cream, milk, syrups and other ingredients.
Perfect for:
* Cakes, biscuits and pastries
* Ice cream and gelato
* Crème brûlée and panna cotta
* Custards and desserts
* Chocolate and confectionery
* Vanilla sugar and vanilla syrup
* Homemade vanilla extract
* Cocktails and beverages
* Brewing and distilling
* Commercial food production
Choose the Right Vanilla Grade
Not every vanilla pod is intended for the same purpose. The main difference between our grades is moisture, appearance, aroma, flexibility and intended use.
Grade A – Gourmet Vanilla Pods
Best for: Baking, desserts, ice cream and recipes where you want a beautiful, aromatic vanilla pod.
Grade A vanilla pods are the premium, gourmet option. They are generally plumper, softer, more flexible and have a higher moisture content than lower grades.
Their rich aroma and soft texture make them particularly easy to split and scrape, allowing you to use the vanilla seeds directly in your recipe.
Choose Grade A if you:
* Want premium-quality vanilla for cooking and baking
* Want to scrape fresh vanilla seeds from the pod
* Are making ice cream, custards, desserts or sauces
* Want strong natural vanilla aroma
* Prefer softer and more flexible pods
* Are using vanilla where appearance and presentation matter
Ideal for: home bakers, chefs, pastry makers and premium food applications.
Grade B – Excellent for Extracts & Infusions
Best for: Homemade vanilla extract, vanilla sugar, vanilla syrup, brewing and commercial applications.
Grade B vanilla pods contain less moisture than Grade A pods. Because you are paying for less water weight, they can be a practical and economical choice when you need vanilla for longer-term infusion or extraction.
Grade B pods may not look as plump or attractive as Grade A, but appearance does not mean they lack vanilla flavour. They are particularly popular for making homemade vanilla extract and other infused products.
Choose Grade B if you:
* Want to make vanilla extract
* Are making vanilla sugar or vanilla syrup
* Need vanilla for brewing or distilling
* Are purchasing larger quantities
* Want a more economical option
* Are more interested in flavour than the appearance of the pod
Ideal for: extract makers, brewers, distillers, food businesses and regular home users.
Extract Grade – A Practical Choice for Large-Scale Extraction
Best for: Vanilla extract production, brewing, distilling and cost-conscious applications.
Extract Grade vanilla pods are selected primarily for their suitability for extraction rather than their appearance.
These pods can have lower moisture and may have a less attractive appearance compared with gourmet Grade A beans. However, they remain a useful source of natural vanilla flavour and are a popular choice when the beans are going to be processed rather than presented whole.
Choose Extract Grade if you:
* Are making vanilla extract
* Need vanilla for commercial production
* Are brewing or distilling
* Need larger quantities
* Want to minimise the cost associated with higher-moisture beans
* Do not need the pods to look perfect
Important: Grade refers to the characteristics and intended use of the vanilla bean. A lower grade does not mean the bean is artificial or that it contains no flavour.
Grade A vs Grade B – Which Should You Buy?
| If your priority is… | We recommend |
|---|---|
| Premium baking and desserts | Grade A |
| Fresh vanilla seeds / caviar | Grade A |

| Best appearance | Grade A |
| More economical extraction | Grade B / Extract Grade |
Still unsure?
A simple way to decide is:
Want to use the vanilla pod directly in your recipe? → Choose Grade A.
Want to extract or infuse the vanilla into another product? → Choose Grade B or Extract Grade.
How to Use a Vanilla Pod
Using a whole vanilla pod is simple.
1. Cut the pod lengthways
Place the vanilla pod on a chopping board and carefully split it from end to end using a sharp knife.
2. Scrape out the seeds
Use the back of your knife to gently scrape the tiny black vanilla seeds from inside the pod.
3. Add the seeds to your recipe
Add the vanilla seeds directly to custards, ice cream, cakes, creams, sauces or other recipes.
4. Don't throw away the pod
The remaining pod still contains plenty of natural vanilla aroma. Add it to sugar, milk, cream or syrup and allow it to infuse.
You can also use whole pods to make your own vanilla extract.

Naturally Cultivated Vanilla
At Neugini Naturals, we work with vanilla growers and carefully select vanilla beans for quality and flavour. Our vanilla beans are cultivated using organic growing methods without artificial fertilisers and chemical sprays. While the pods may not necessarily be certified organic, they are cultivated using organic techniques.
We source vanilla from established growing regions and offer different varieties and grades to suit both retail and commercial customers.

Real Vanilla. Real Flavour.
When you use whole vanilla pods, you are using the actual vanilla bean rather than simply adding artificial vanilla flavour.
Choose Grade A for premium culinary use, Grade B for extraction and infusion, or Extract Grade for larger-scale extraction and processing.
If you are still unsure which vanilla is right for your recipe or business, contact Neugini Naturals and we can help you choose the most suitable grade and quantity.
This version is designed to answer the questions customers are likely to have before purchasing, rather than simply describing vanilla. It also avoids making Grade B sound like an inferior product—the current page risks doing that—while clearly explaining why someone would deliberately choose Grade B.
One thing I would also strongly recommend for the actual product pages is adding a “Which vanilla should I choose?” comparison box directly above the Add to Cart button. That could significantly reduce customer confusion between Grade A, Grade B and Extract Grade.
